World Building: A panel on the subject of creating a setting for your novel, game, film, television series, or roleplay continuity. The panel will emphasize fantasy and science-fiction world building, but the tenants of creating a universe for your project are applicable to all forms of fiction. Will discuss basics such as establishing geography, culture, and rules of your fantastical elements as well as more intricate subjects as the politics and economics of your fictional realm. The panel will showcase strong and poor world building in popular art and fiction and include a question and answer segment at the end to discuss the subject with the panelists.
